Fun stuff we tried:

• Install OpenFace on OSX (preliminary howto here)
• Using OpenFace on recent film teasers, videos of theater performances and Russian TV news and talkshows
• Using OpenPose on videos from aphasic people
• Using Detectron with a custom-trained model on a new image corpus (pictures taken from social media)
• Visualising dominant colors in a picture (sample notebook here)
• Using Detectron's object recognition on book illustrations
• Experimenting with PixPlot visualisations (fork with added functionality here)
