runelite-plugins's Introduction

Automatic Low Detail

Automatically turn off ground decorations while inside certain areas (like raids)

Improves floor tile visibility without having to manually toggle the Low Detail plugin each time you enter or leave an area. This is especially useful for intense PvM encounters.

This plugin was originally based on Low Detail Chambers (github), extended to support the other two raid encounters, etc. as well as being toggleable per-area.

Supported areas

  • Chambers of Xeric
  • Theatre of Blood
  • Tombs of Amascut
  • Inferno (and TzHaar-Ket-Rak's Challenges)
  • Hallowed Sepulchre

Changelog

  • Fixed Automatic Low Detail being disabled after starting a Chambers of Xeric raid (See #4)

v1.1.1 (Patch release)

  • Fixed CoX scouting breaking when reloading the raid from the inside stairs (See #2)
  • Changed internal logic for changing low detail mode to only be applied if absolutely necessary (See #3)
  • Minor code optimizations and improvements
  • Flagged incompatibility with Low Detail Chambers

v1.1 (Minor release)

  • Added support for Inferno (and TzHaar-Ket-Rak's Challenges)
  • Added support for Hallowed Sepulchre (See #1)
  • Fixed a bug where disabling Runelite's Low Detail plugin could incorrectly disable low detail mode while Automatic Low Detail was still active

runelite-plugins's Issues

Support for other areas

Hi, thanks for your work on this plugin. Would you be willing to add support for Inferno and Hallowed Sepulchre? Both of these have varbits to determine when the player is in them, so it shouldn't be much work.
The Inferno varbit is 11878. It's set to 1 inside the Inferno (and during Tzhaar-Ket-Rak's Jad challenges), and set to 0 everywhere else.
The Hallowed Sepulchre uses the varbit 10392 to store your time remaining on the floor. It's set to 0 outside the Sepulchre, and greater than 0 inside it (even when running out of time, it just stays set to 1 until you leave).

Hide lower planes

From my testing, it only turns on regular low detail, and not lower planes. A toggle to hide lower planes would be helpful for specific content, e.g. cox and tob, but not for toa.

"Loading - Please Wait" lag while in Hallowed Sepulchre

Thanks! It works great for Inferno. I'm noticing one issue with Sepulchre, which is that if the plugin is enabled and Sepulchre is unchecked, a "Loading - Please Wait" message pops up every tick along with some lag while inside of the Sepulchre. Probably because that varbit is the timer for Sepulchre and it updates every tick.

cox: Automatic Low Detail breaks layout reloading in Chambers of Xeric

When the Automatic Low Detail plugin is enabled, reloading the Chambers of Xeric layout using the "Reload" options on the steps inside of the lobby does not update the layout shown by the Chambers of Xeric plugin.

The default Low Detail plugin does not create this behavior.

This is the issue that enables layout reloading when using the "Reload" options on the steps inside of the lobby: runelite/runelite#17241
