More important when #4 is done as at the moment you'd never hit the threshold criteria so would never pay off the loan.

Plan 2 is based on salary as well.

The implementations are quite similar and the tests are repetitive to a degree. Can probably move the salary usable calculation into an operation and keep the carried over amount somewhere.

Student loan repayments are calculated on National Insurance-able pay, if your workplace pension comes out via salary sacrifice this will lower the amount paid. We should add something to the calculator to support this scenario.

The repayment thresholds generally increase by the average annual earnings every year.
It's currently possible to handle salary increases at certain points, but it would be better to also include an average increase every year.

Add the ability to specify yearly salary increases/decreases, either fixed or percentage. Use this in any calculations.
Salary changes can also affect the type 2 interest rate so should handle this at some point too.

For these inputs, the interest paid should be somewhere around 11p

One-off and regular.

For example, the person might not have started paying the loan back yet as they're under the threshold. With salary increases they may hit the threshold which should set the first payment date. We shouldn't require the user to do this calculation.

I think we can just ask the user the course start and end dates and do this calculation for them.
