I'm trying to install the linkclump extension and I keep getting this message - Download was not a CRX. Please advise! Thank you!

Hello, when selecting multiple links using clump the program is adding many extra characters to the links. The links still open but are not being displayed properly. It appears when selecting just one link instead, it is copying the link correctly.

First of all: GREAT extension. Good job, really.

But I wonder if it's still actively developed or at least maintained..

Love your extension and find it very useful. I'm wondering if you can expand the "ignore" functionality to ignore links where the ignore text appears in the URL itself, not just the anchor text. Whenever you update, I add the following code just below your code for the ignoring based on the .innerHTML attribute:

Either an option to wait for tabs to complete loading before starting the close delay timer, or to close tabs immediately when finished loading.

1. open local file with links. i.e: open in browser: file:///C:/work/links.htm (links.htm contains 10 links to differect websites)
2. use linkclump
   nothing happens.

E.g. http://www.mapy.cz/ - the context menu is called by the javascript. But with LinkClump it is disabled.

🙏 As a desktop (Apple MBP, El Capitan, Chrome v47) user, when I open a list of URLs, I want the URLs to open in the order I selected; from left-to-right in tabs. Currently, the first selected URL ends up on the far right of my tabs #UXD #Bug - if you agree reply +1 or vote this up

Extension is installed but the selection rectangle isn't drawn

I noticed that the selected links are opened at the very end of the tab row.

For me would be very useful if I can open them immediately on the right side of the tab containing the selected links. Not at the very end.

Please advise me if this behavior exists.

If I have Linkclump enabled as Chrome extension, the right-click menu doesn't appear when I (right) click a PDF file that is opened in the browser.

If I disable the Linkclump extension, restart Chrome, the right menu appears. If I enable Linkclump again, restart Chrome, the right menu doesn't work anymore.

In Chrome, going to extensions and then clicking the options, it never actually opens. This only a problem for me right now because link clump stopped working altogether for me. Uninstall then re-install the extension?

System: Windows XP Pro SP3 (fully updated)

I've been using Linkclump for months now and been well pleased. But in the last week or 10 days, behavior has changed dramatically. When I test functionality on the Guide page it works as expected. But on several pages I use daily (examples below) the first 2 pages from my selection open according to the settings (20 seconds open; 30 seconds close) except the tabs never close and no further links open. I've tried the following:

1. suspending AV
2. updating Chrome
3. uninstall/reinstall Linkclump
   4, testing various Options settings (15/20; 30/45; 30/59) etc.
4. limiting link selection to 10 links at a time (50 was my usual selection).
   I can't think of anything further to try, hence this post. Thank you in advance for your assistance.

I have a page of links to imdb movies that I keep on my hdd. it works ok in ff-multilinks, it works occasionally in chrome, but most often not. I have not been able to determine when it decides to work. I have uninstalled / installed many times, but alway end up giving up on it and using ff for just this one purpose.

The behaviour is that the right click does not seem to even work. That is you wont see the dotted box.

It works fine on non-local pages.

After using linkclump for around 30 minutes it seems to stop working when I go to the options page it has re-set the configuration settings when I try to alter them back it will not save. I am having to uninstall it and reinstall up to 8 times per day. Other than this I love this extension and it is so time saving. Please help - thank you

when I open many tabs at once. Some servers block requests if they are many. Some server allows only a few queries, and the remaining blocks.
It would be right to add 2 options:

1. open at the same time only a certain number of tabs
2. time interval, through which opens next group of tabs

Please add a new action type, "Ask me", which prompts you for which type of action to take each time

I am a long time user of LinkClump and over the last few months it has been intermittently not working. I have been able to simply restart Chrome and it would work again. Now today I cannot get it to work at all. I have restarted Chrome, disabled and re-enabled the extension, removed and reinstalled the extension, and restarted the computer. No luck it getting it to work.

This is happening on all websites.

In the getXY function the position of an element is calculated by adding the scrollTop of all of it's parents. This causes issues with position:absolute because the parent's scrollTop has no effect on the element. Here is an example: http://jsfiddle.net/pMnBw/

The fix is as easy as changing

I run this on linux and when I right click to start selecting the links, it instantly opens up the menu (right click menu) and I cant get it to start showing the yellow box.
Any fixes to this?

Works perfect for windows and claims support for linux.

I have a mouse, which has another programmable buttons on the left and right. Could it be possible to add the choice for using them? For example auto detection of the buttons pressed in the settings?

Probably Google Docs' bindings for Shift key on Mac prevents this from running. It does not work at all.

I've been using Linkclump for months and now I and others have tried to use it and its not working...

i have highlighted links on my game site and in google to test. and then i right click and link clump is not there to click on to open selected links...

i have tried it on windows 8 and well as vista and all my friends are running windows 8 as well and some are running link clump app

This plugin has no Icon, but to have a option to see it to quick access preferences, would be great.

I have followed all of the instructions for using Linkclump for my desktop: but I must be doing something wrong as it does not work for me. Please make a suggestion.

It would be great to have an option preventing duplicate links to be opened.

I was hoping that this would replace the now-obsolete Firefox extension called TXTlinkTAB (http://www.txtlinktab.com/), which would allow even a text file open in a browser to have its links (written as plain text with an Anchor tag) highlighted and then opened in a new tab. Is that possible with Linkclump, or is it on your product roadmap?

Why..?? Once that new link open after 10 seconds the next one will open then after 20 tabs is slows things down. I would like to start closing the older tabs that where open to make room for the new tabs.

It would be great to be able to send a bunch of links directly to the download manager without passing through tabs. For example, downloading 500+ files from the DC City Data Repository

Installed Linkclump - worked fine until today. It lost the action setup - have removed and re-installed but the same happens. Go to add action, make choices, hit save and will not save??

When you make a selection box in linkclump, any key that you press disables the selection box. With Snap Links Lite, I could start a selection box, hit the "End" key, and select all the links on the page without having to scroll for 5-10 seconds.

The second problem concerning the spell check also happens on all of any site wherever there is a subject line or text field. Well, not every time, but most of the time it does happen. That problem goes away when I only disable Linkclump and returns when I re-enable Linkclump.. It happens even when Linkclump is the only extension I have enabled, so it's definitely Linkclump and not a problem caused by a conflict with another extension. Here are some where I double checked and found it to be happening just before sending this message. mail.google.com mail.yahoo.com wbir.com gocomics.com nationalgeographic.com urbanjunglecomic.com

It would be very much useful to add a copy format as if you highlight a link and press ctrl+c. If you paste such link, for example, into a word document - it'll be displayed as a clickable title.

nothing opens dotted zone.

When there are several tabs pinned, new tabs position will be wrong.

Another nice feature would be seeing a link list before opening, where also some links could be removed from the list.
