I was wondering if you could not put image selection shortcuts in the gallery.

SHIFT + CLICK = SELECT ALL IMAGES IN DIRECTION CLICKED

When I try to use the extension on my desktop, it has suddenly stopped working. I get the dialog box, downloading X images, but the screen with the "save" button freezes and does not disappear, as it does when I use the extension on my laptop, where it works fine. The download just doesn't happen, and when I click on the screen again, I get a "Download canceled" message. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox, and it worked once, then stopped working again. Any advice?

It would be very helpful if this addon could include the ability to save all images meeting the filter requirements (eg size) on the current tab AND any tab to the right of the current tab

I've tried copying 8,000+ image links at the Gallery but it doesn't copy.

I've tested using Firefox and Yandex Android Version.

Around 5,000 image links seems can be copied. It would be good if there's an option where you can set a range then you can change its "selected" state so we can copy image links part by part and doesn't not need to worry about mobile capabilities regarding copying image links.

I have a question regarding "Stop" button when loading image links. Can we use the "Stop" button but the already loaded images can still be accessed in the Gallery?

There are images attached to a messages on a forums based on SMF (probably also other but i am does not checked). When I am manually download them, "save file" dialog offer correct name of file to be saved.

But when I am use your extension to save all images from page, they saved as "index - 1.php","index - 2.php" etc. It is annoying.

AFAIK (I did not dig deep) this is because browser get filename from the http response, not from the link text.

Please either fix it or make option to get file name from http.

When I download an image an incorrect date is added. I seems to be my current system date & time minus 9 hours. I'm currently in Australia and am usually in the UK which is 9 hours behind us at present so this may be a possible cause.

img src however just leads to the thumbnail. pr0gramm.com/top/3832881 would lead to the image. However the tool doesn't search this link I guess

However, the addon's window closes after 3 seconds and the download gets canceled. I think this happens because the website has a gallery of rotating images that change every few seconds using javascript. When the images rotate, the addon window closes. I tried disabling the website's javascript but then this addon didn't run at all.

Maybe there could be an option to make the window permanent so it won't close even if javascript from the website is running in the background.

Please add a feature to handle "Continue To Image" button/link (shown in Level-2/Page-2), that appears after click on a small-image in various forums (Level-1/Page-1) . And actual/final image is shown in webpage (Level-3/Page3), which appears after click on the "Continue To Image" button/link.

MORE INFO / PROBLEMS / ISSUES:

• In a forum for-example: "forum.example1.com", an uploader user has posted many small-images from "example2.com", an image-hosting type of website. For example, posted 30 image links, each link has such URL "example2.com/i/img-numbers". Forum's this page (PAGE-1 or LEVEL-1) also showing other images from forum and also shows Ads (Advertisements), etc.
I only want to download images that are posted by one specific uploader/user in a specific post under a specific topic in forum.
When i looked at source-code of forum-webpage using Firefox/Chrome/Chromium-inspector, then it revealed, specific post has specific URL, & are inside specific HTML tags with specific "ID" attribute, (that is, some specific HTML-tag with specific ID-name, that has different post number for different post, etc).
• once/when viewer user clicks/taps/presses on a specific single small-image in forum's post,
then next webpage (PAGE-2 or LEVEL-2) from "example2.com" site appears, and it does not show the image first, but instead, shows a Button or a Link with "Continue To Image" (or something similar) text, this Page-2 also has other small-images and Ads . Website that shows button usually has specific HTML-tag with ID-attribute such as this example-code: ...<form action="" method="POST"><input id="continueButton" type="submit" name="imgContinue" value="Continue to image..."></form>..., etc.
Some website shows a link (instead of a button ) that has "Continue To Image" text . When user clicks on it, it either un-hiddens the final-image on Page-2, OR goes into PAGE-3 to show the final image.
• after pressing/clicking/tapping on the "Continue To Image" (or similar) button or link, when next webpage (PAGE-3 or LEVEL-3) appears from "example2.com" site, they such webpage usually or may have such (example) URL: "example2.com/u/u-number/i/img-number", etc, where the final image is shown in middle, in middle of other small-images from example2.com site, and this page also has Ads, etc.
• viewer/user have to right-click on the middle final specific IMAGE (or tap & hold on mobile browser) to reach/bring the Properties menu & select "Save image as" option there, then file-browser window appears to save it into specific folder, etc.

DYNAMIC/VARIABLE RESPONSE FROM IMAGE SERVER:
i have also also noticed that, this "example2.com" website shows the "Continue To Image" button or link, when a viewer user wants to see image for 1st time, that means, when viewer user clicks 2nd-time on another small-image shown on forum "example1.com" website, then this PAGE-2 does not appear or auto SKIPPED or goes away quickly.
When viewer user pauses, for example, for 30 minutes or 1hr, and if viewer user clicks on forum's another/same small-image, then "example2.com" site AGAIN asks to click on that "Continue to Image" button/link.

Above situation/web-interface exists in many websites not only in one "example2.com" website.

How can i pre-program this addon to download all the final specific image in PAGE-3 or LEVEL-3, when "Continue To Image" button is shown (in Page-2 or in Level-2) initially ?
And, How can i pre-program this addon to download all the final specific image in PAGE-3 or LEVEL-3, when "Continue To Image" link is shown (in Page-2 or in Level-2) initially ?
And, How can i pre-program this addon to download all the final specific image in PAGE-2, when "Continue To Image" button/link un-hiddens the final image initially ?
Why i have used the word "initially" its exaplained in previous/above section : this "Continue To Image" button or link appears only initially for the first image, and after a pause of activities for 30-to-60 minutes, etc.

And also want to set timers, like these : after downloading (final) image in page-2 or page-3, there should be atleast 5-to-10 seconds of waiting time (before begin with next small-image in the forum's specific post in PAGE-1 or LEVEL-1 ) . Note: due to large & random sized image file, limited server capacity, etc, downloading final image will take widely different time.
And, before handing the "Continue To Image" (or similar text based) button or link, there should be also atleast 4 seconds of waiting time/period, etc.

if automated download has timers for sufficient delays before (or in-between) various activities, then it reduces pressure on image hosting type of server(s).

I get no response from the toolbar icon when I try to use this on a facebook page.

Save All Images is the most capable tool for Firefox to save certain images. It is definitely an add-on that you will use if everything else fails. However, saving a specific image file with a specific name in a specific folder is made not very easy due to the fact that images are saved inside a .zip file. Would it not be possible to create the option to save the image files directly to a predefined folder? Ideally with an option to specify the filename or have it automatically created out of the date and time if the original filename was not found.

This would make the use of this great add-on so much easier.

The following are more Quality of Life improvements rather than features.

1. Have the option of loading the Gallery upon launch, instead of the filter menu first.
2. Be able to choose Gallery thumbnail size
3. Large preview of image on cursor hover

Would it be possible to permit more options (in square brackets) in the "File Mask" section of the UI to allow drawing on other attributes in the original "img" tag if they exist (like "alt", "class", "title") to construct the image filenames? Perhaps to avoid hard-coding all possible attributes, the user could provide something like [att=title] or [att=alt] as part of the "File Mask" (and silently fail if that particular attribute doesn't exist)?

Frequently when retrieving at level 2 I see saved files with the beginning of the file name truncated, such as "rol_Brown_772734.jpg" where the actual filename was "Carol_Brown" etcetera. This behavior does not seem associated with any constant number of characters in the filename. Can this be replicated, analyzed and corrected?

File naming no longer works. It now adds zip to the end of the page name and then add date and time with zip on the end of that. Then when you download, download is the only naming without file association for a zip file. Does it on almost every page.

Sure would like to get images from Unsplash. But size restrictions appear to be ignored and not all the images from the page appear in the download. Even if I make the time very long 2 min, and the other restrictions very large. Bummer.

I used the save-images extension today and found one strange thing.
If there is an underbar in the image file name, it is saved as hyphen when it is saved.
for example, A file called 20200424083328060_1.jpg is displayed on the webpage. If you download it using the save-images extension, it will be saved as 20200424083328060-1.jpg.
I've looked for options or GitHub to solve this, but I haven't found a way. So I post an issue like this. Can you help me? Thank you.

I prefer to sort my images on my local drive, so having to click "Gallery" and then "Download" is annoying. Just adding the download button to the main screen would save me tons of time, and should be fairly easy to do.

the extension would open a new tab where all images in the links detected will be showed.
The images would be resized to width of browser proportionaly, or by a configurable parameter of width.
So, after that, the tab would be saved in a folder, or not.

This application is a very good option but i have a serious problem with the protected sites (login:pass)

The application detect all the images from the page but if the gallery have more than one page, when you going to the second page, you will see now are loged out.

In my experience, this happen with the mostly login protected sites

is it possible to fix this issue?

There was a previous app for firefox that was very much like yours called Image Host Grabber. It included a Host file which had the regular expressions for many, many, image hosting platforms included. It Could be updated by users to share with other users and made things easier for those of us that did not know regular expressions. A feature like that would really make this extension a must have, I have a copy of one of the last versions of it if you would like to take a look and add the ability to auto detect the proper expression for each site to your extension.

On this site Hay Day Goods List, I'm trying to grab all the 100x100 images, of which there are 248 however it only is able to "see" 239.

After setting the filters :
Min width: 95
Max width: 105
Min height: 95
Max height: 105
Image type: All
Exclude duplicates: UNchecked.

Buttons on main dialog are whited out. They can be identified via hover and are still functional but the labels are the same color as the bg.

A preview of the images might be helpful to let users decide if they are downloading the right images.

On some sites, when I try to download the images, only a few of them actually go into the zip file. Everything looks like it is working normally, I get a page of thumbnails that look like they are all there, and when I hit the download button, the countdown indicates that they are being collected, but the zip file only has (for example) five out of 50 images.

When I gave the download button the extension stops responding after a short time, the images are not downloaded and chrome reports that the app crash and will have to reload again.

When downloading an archive in stead of the name shown in the extension pop-up window, example:

This happens in Cent Browser version 4.1.7.182 using Download all Images version 0.6.6.

Looks like the latest firefox (68.0.1, mac, 64, sierra) update may have done something as it was working perfectly and now I can't really see any downloads. I got one zip file (individual files was checked) and now pretty much no downloads. Dialog showing progress.

I love this tool, but I recently downloading images from a page where all were scaled, i.e. http://website.com/image.jpg?width=365&height=205

I would like to see a feature so that the tool can detect the 'original' image and download it without the adjusted scale.

How could one download the images without zipping / packaging them?

If I am downloading a known number of images, it would be helpful to have an instruction like "stop after NNN images" to avoid getting various "spam" and unwanted images.

sometimes I need save comic images in a single page.
while the filenames a hash value which is out of order, it's useless.
rename dozens filenames manually is unacceptable。
so please add an option to add a prefix number for filename or just rename filename by it's display order(eg. 001.jpg).

2 issues in Firefox 59.0 64 bit Download All Images add on: First, I click save images and use the "open save dialog" option bottom right to save the folder, then after I click save it saves all of the pictures as a file with the extension "File". There isn't a program to open it or read it. Once in a while it saves the files as a zipped folder, but not often. Second, I can only download images from one tab at a time or else it resaves the same images into a duplicate folder with the same name. For example, I download bing images for Australia in one tab. In another tab I save images for New Zealand. When I do this back to back by changing window tabs, it doesn't save the second group of images that I selected. Rather than saving Australia's images in Australia's folder, and New Zealand's images in New Zealand's folder, it saves to folders with Australia's images. What can be done to remedy these issues? Using FF and I see the right hand sliding notification that the images were saved but nowhere to be found on my computer. I have my FF download folder pointed to my stock download folder. Please advise.

2 feature requests:

• Could you give the option to save all the images in a specific folder?
• By default, all my images are zipped in a file... Each time I have to decompress them. Why not saving each file independently by default rather than zipping them?

I have some sites, where the pictures are loaded while the user ist scroll in a image list. It would be nice if we had a button "add all to queue" and then this urls added to a list. If I finally click on "Save" all duplicates would be erased and all are downloaded.

Unfortunately, while the extension does pretty well in Firefox for Windows 10, the bottom row of buttons doesn't appear at all on macOS Mojave 10.14.2, which means the extension is not yet usable on that machine for me. While I have to scroll to see the buttons on my Windows laptop, that doesn't appear to be an option on the Macbook.

Hello, I've found across a few sites that have multiple images with the same name, let's say "image.jpg", that Download All Images isn't able to save; it just saves one at random. I don't see any setting that allows multiple images with same name to be downloaded. Am I missing something or is this not a feature?

It doesn't work on duckduckgo image search (gifs). I've tried to download all gifs, set deep search to 2 but it failed. It only detects the preview images but not the actual GIFs.
