Any way you can put an indoor humidity line on the Recent Activity graph? Or the option to do so, anyway?
Look at current thermostat settings and recommend changes to improve energy efficiency/comfort. Provide a "do this for me" button that requests write permissions to the thermostat.
Compressor Min Cycle Off Time >= 300 seconds.
Compressor Min Outdoor Temperature = 0°F for heat/cool compressor. Higher for cool-only
Aux Heat Max Outdoor Temperature <= 40°F (although should usually be lower)
Heat Differential Temperature >= 1.0°F
Heat Dissipation Time >= 30s
Cool Differential Temperature >= 1.0°F
Cool Dissipation Time >= 30s
Compressor Min On Time >= 5min
Compressor to Aux Temperature Delta >= 5°F
Aux Reverse Staging = On
I get an error on reauthentication
{"success":false,"data":{"error_message":"Database query failed.","error_code":1206}}
Besides displaying it for us in the browser, what else are you doing with our data?
Do you have a privacy policy?
having the date at the top (like near "Recent Activity") or the bottom (like where the day of the week is, but that gets crowded) would help.
Hello,
I would like to request that the Aux (or Cool) stages be visible in the charts, like they are on the official ecobee website.
Thank you
Have connected account successfully, but don't get past the updating your thermostats page.
Can't see any connection timeouts in Chrome Inspector or any errors.
Show your current schedule or follow me data.

Thanks for this. I linked my thermostats/ sensors. I'm ashamed that I don't really know what I'm looking at. Do you have a beestat for dummies guide to reading/ understanding/ analyzing/ using the analysis to create efficiencies?
Make a plot that shows average home temp vs sensor temp so we can use it to accurately tweak vent settings for both heat and cool? Maybe a trending over the past (range) since it'll change with the seasons. Maybe a few ways to see if a room has poor insulation vs too much airflow (temp delta at end of runtime vs at beginning of runtime, etc)
Is there somewhere we can signup for updates? Essentially I'd just like to know when Nest functionality is available!
Beestat has a fully functional API, complete with API keys, logging, rate limiting, etc. It might be nice to expose this API to users who want access to their raw thermostat data and beestat reports without having to connect to the ecobee API.
In the aggregate runtime graph when set to 1 year, I have no idea what each bar is representing as April has more bars than March but may has 3/4 the bars as April...
Graph the sensor data at an hourly interval for all the sensors to compare them
The aggregate Runtime graph will show data when you tap a section, but the date shows as Invalid Date.
I've been wanting something like this since I bought my Zwave thermostat many, many years ago. Speaking of which, could you possibly add support for generic thermostats like mine? Alternatively, would it be possible to pull information from thermostats and temperature sensors from Home Assistant?
Instead of re-authenticating with ecobee every time, create a beestat user account.
Ex: This implies that the AC ran for more than 24 hours on some days.
Thanks, @BigDogJonx for your comments on this. Moving this specific discussion here.
Appears to be related to a bug with highcharts and flex containers.
An idea for the future to adapt the software to be able to connect to a MQTT broker and feed the required data from any automation system and to be able to self host.
If we have user accounts then probably expire cookies sooner.
TODO think about for Nest support when I update database structure to be more generic. Possibly store data down to the minute (second?) instead of the 5 minute chunks used now.
Move API caching to configuration with a single function call instead of calling it individually in each function that needs cached.
I was wondering if it was possible to aggregate the data from multiple thermostats into one analysis. My home has four separate thermostats and I'd love to have all the data in one place.
The swimlanes up top. Ecobee shows 5:00m on their website. Insead of that, show the actual total runtime for that segment.
Possibly affects all graph renderings..maybe I just haven't noticed because I have the fonts installed...?
Need to investigate further.
It'd be awesome if we had the choice or option to export a snapshot of the data displayed as a PDF.
I'd like to send the report to my home warranty company because they sent a tech out and he claims to have fixed our AC but it has been running for 19 hours without cooling the house a single degree.
This would be useful
EDIT: Just noticed the download button for each chart! Nice, but it'd be awesome if we could download the entire report 😛
I love what I see so far; Ecobee should buy your code! Support for AUX is built into Ecobee, and I would love to see this kind of detail on my humidifier.
Thank you!
