Notification state error
Sometimes the state gets saved with an empty object in the notifications array. This causes starting the timer to throw an exception when it tries to run notification.close().
Change current active user
Cache settings in localStorage
When certain settings are changed they can be saved to localStorage, to then be loaded on page load.
