I'm quite curios about what the actual benefit of this package is.
I mean you could also just import the version from your package.json directly.

import { program } from "commander";
import * as projectInfo from "../package.json";

program.name("bc").description("Hello World!").version(projectInfo.version);

So what's the advantage of using your package?
