So, the sample feed in this repo should be updated.

I am getting the following notices when using the php seo sdk. I realize 'notices' themselves do not cause problems, but are there to write better code.

Notice: Undefined variable: bvparam in Base->_getPageNumber() (line 372 of ~/bvseosdk.php).
Notice: Undefined offset: 1 in Base->_getPageNumber() (line 373 of ~/bvseosdk.php).
Notice: Undefined variable: bvparam in Base->_getPageNumber() (line 376 of ~/bvseosdk.php).

If I am doing something wrong, please let me know.

For convenience, It would be nice to have a Nuget package for the SEO Integration DLL.

If BV is asking clients for deployment_zone_id in the config parameters, it's really confusing in the debug output to refer to this as bv.root.folder - see line 451. Would be good to update this for future versions.

In PHP SDK I get this error when I follow the READ.md:
Fatal error: Call to undefined method Reviews::renderSeo()

However I can see the method getContent() in line 668, and it's working. Does it do the same thing?

Deletion of the deprecated feeds (#101) will be delayed until all resources/documentation that reference the feeds can be updated accordingly. So, the deletion date stated in the sample feeds should be removed until we have a more accurate date.

The two native content import feeds (https://github.com/bazaarvoice/HostedUIResources/tree/master/NativeImport) use IP addresses owned by...I don't really know who.

I recommend they be updated to match the feeds in the Knowledge Base (http://knowledge.bazaarvoice.com/wp-content/conversations/en_US/Collect/native_content_import.html#full-feed-examples) which use IP addresses from RFC-5737 (https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc5737).

It would be very useful if the .net library had a property IsSearchBotRequest. Due to the method in which you return the javascript. In ASP.NEt webforms we use a script manager for all of our scripts. This returned javascript is incompatible. But by having a flag to know whether the request processed was a search bot or not would allow me to render the read reviews script in the method we are currently.

We have no way of telling whether the request was made from a search bot or not.

CONTRIBUTING.md says,

Bazaarvoice employees should name their branch after a ticket number

However, BV should not ask employees to expose internal issues. Instead, all users (BV and otherwise) should use GitHub issues.

After the deprecation period has ended, the feeds deprecated in #100 should be deleted from this repo.

should the seo file not exist locally, the call to getSeoResults > getFile (line 117) with throw a FileNotFound exception, which can include local website structure,

This detail is then returned directly to the page as a comment via getBvComment ( line 133).

I would recommend that the exception details be pushing instead to the _exception field, and hidden nicely in getBvComment, only revealed to the page if isBvRevealADebug.

The product feed, native content import feed, and PIE XML feed all use outdated schema versions.

We are using Websphere Commerce 7 and wanted to integrate Bazaarvoice SEO for our company. We downloaded the JAR file and tried to make some changes in our functionality to utilise the SEO feature. However, we are having problems with one of the property files(bvclient.properties). We tried copying this properties file into our standard libraries, but the files is not found when we execute the JAR. We are getting the following error message.

"com.bazaarvoice.Configuration Unable to find bvclient.properties file in path. Some required properties are not defined".

Please suggest

Now that the Conversations Knowledge Base contains sample feeds, we should deprecate the sample feeds from this repo in favor of the KB to avoid duplicate documentation.

A deprecation message should be added to the top of the following feeds:

• ExampleProductFeed.xml
• ExampleNativeImportFeed.xml
• ExampleQuestionsAnswersNativeImportFeed.xml
• ExamplePIEFeed.xml
• ExamplePIEFeed.txt

The deprecation message should clearly state when the feeds will be deleted and include a link to its KB replacement.

From documentation:

Files in these directories are named SUBJECTID.htm, where SUBJECTID represents the URL-encoded ID of a product or category. For example, a product that features reviews and has an ID of 00+1122, generates the following file name:

{DisplayCode}/reviews/product/1/00%2B1122.htm

where DisplayCode represents your unique display code.

The SDK code doesn't look like it does the URL encoding. It should.
