charybdis-pmw-3360-sensor-pcb's Issues

AP7331-20WG-7

Hello
sorry I'm still a noob with electronics

I'm thinking of using this as a sensor for my keyboard trackball
but I'm having issues getting the AP7331-20WG-7 without incurring a crazy shipping fee (over £9 for a sub £2 order)
is the an alternate regulator I could use?

many thanks

Question about TXS0104EDR

Hey! Thank you for putting this online. I really appreciate the work here.

It looks like the master version of the code is using a different footprint part for the voltage-level translator than what's
called out in the README (and also the kicad files, I'm not mistaken).

What part are you using there, or can you point me to the TXS0104EDR that has the right footprint?

PMW3360DM-T2QU not avaliable

Hey!

At first thanks for the work! Im currently wrapping my head around building a Charybdis nano.

I was clicking trough a jlcpcb order to get the senor manufactured and assembled but it seems PMW3360DM-T2QU is not available?

I cant find the part even in the parts management of jlcpcb.

Is this a recent change? Or should i order from a different service?

thanks in advance! love your work.

PCB in release section uses wrong/non-existing parts

I am in the process of ordering the sensor pcb with the files provided in the release section.
There are some problems with the parts used and the files provided .

  1. The parts used are metric 0603 but jlcpcb uses imperial code in their systems. That means the parts don't fit and trying to find replacements is not possible because there are no 0603/0201 10uF capacitors. And the other parts are non standard which makes them way more expensive because of the extra charge.

  2. The cpl file places the parts outside the pcb and the orientation is wrong on some parts.

That means that those files are basically useless and need to be fixed in my opinion.
