#Instructions - building and running Logentries in a RHEL7 Docker container
- Copy the Dockerfile into your registered RHEL7 machine/image -
git clone https://github.com/bartockbat/LogEntriesRHEL7.git
- docker build -t rhel7/logentries
- docker run -d -p 80:80 rhel7/logentries
- docker ps - note the running docker container - in my case -

- Run the commands:
- Install the logentries application:
docker exec 6ddd52e400d4 /le/install/linux/logentries_install.sh <your-license-key-goes-here>
- Restart the daemon
docker exec 6ddd52e400d4 service logentries restart
- Look in the web UI, and you will see the entry for the Docker container.
