to see the code coverage during dev local work

to see the code coverage on the deployed Vercel site

following https://glebbahmutov.com/blog/code-coverage-for-nextjs-app/, i noticed that cypress/plugins/index.ts and cypress/support/index.ts are being mentioned but how would it be on version 10+?

i'm using React so i assumed it was something like:

cypress/plugins/index.js --> cypress.config.js

  e2e: {
    setupNodeEvents(on, config) {
      require('@cypress/code-coverage/task')(on, config)
      const file = config.env.configFile || "local";
      return getConfigurationByFile(file);
    },
  },
});

cypress/support/index.js --> cypress/support/e2e.js

import './commands'
import '@cypress/code-coverage/support'

but i keep getting Code coverage tasks were not registered by the plugins file
