Exercise’s backend

Introduction

In this Node.js project, we aim to develop an Express server with two endpoints. The goal is to retrieve information about book lists from The New York Times and integrate Google Books previews for books within those lists.

Getting started

git clone https://github.com/b8simone/esercizio_colloquio.git && code esercizio_colloquio/

Available scripts

In the project directory, you can run:

Debug

npm start

Runs backend in debug mode at port 3000

Build

npm run build
  • Builds the backend for production to the build folder

Environment variables

  • EXPRESS_PORT: Port used from express for API. Default 3000
