zampylit's Introduction

zampylit.py - a tool for measuring progress on group writing projects

port of the zampolit tool to Python: https://github.com/briansniffen/zampolit

This tool currently prefers Python 2.7 (patches for Python 3 compatability welcomed).

It requires several dependencies described in the requirements.txt file. To install:

pip install --user -r requirements.txt

It also requires Git and Gnuplot.  To install on Mac OS X with Homebrew:

brew install git
brew install pdflib-lite
brew install gnuplot --with-pdflib-lite --build-from-source
