mudgee's Issues

Legacy Networks

Hello I'm working with Mudgee on legacy control system networks as research to extract MUD files on PLC traffic for scalability testing of MUD. These networks often do not support IPv6 so there is no IPv6 addresses available. Can the IPv6 address be backed down as an option to enable MUD file creation for legacy networks. This goes a long ways to support backwards compatibility and to support transitional network technologies for plants and facilities control systems.

Errors when creating the ipflows.csv files in runtime

Mudgee tries to export a .csv file for the generated flows during the generation of a MUD profile. This uses the mac address as a filename, which fails in NTFS based systems as they include a colon. You could strip the colon.

Docker file is outdated

I tried to run dockerfile but it is no longer possible to install java. I downloaded java 8 from the oracle site. ADD target ./mudgee is not recognized so I downloaded the repo from git but I have errors when trying to install with maven.

mvn clean install
[ERROR] Error executing Maven.

A bit more kind explanation about the mud_config.json?

Hi there,

Thanks for sharing an intriguing project! I would like to actually test this on my setup.

Could you provide a bit more detailed explanation about the config file? What should be the gateway config, device config, etc. I have not much expertise in the network configurations.

Thanks!
