Hello,
After Super Su binary update pine64 stopped booting. What should I do to fix it?
Thanks
The "OK" command of the remote control doesen't work on android's screen keyboard (i can't select characters), anyway It works well with app selection.
Aliexpress/Banggood/Ebay is awash with cheap USB Wifi donngles based off the RTL8088 and 8092 chipsets. Any chance we can add support? (i would if I knew how and then PR but sadly I am not clued up enough on Android)
Update SUBinarys dont work. Bootloop.
At least from what I've seen so far (I am mostly building from source) the overrides aren't overriding hence the issues with the play store.
...maybe triggered by the existence of a special file that will be removed afterwards. Disclaimer: I don't know anything about Android but with our (Armbian's) Linux images this works pretty well in the meantime (leaving some unpartitioned space free to allow cloning/backing up more easily): https://github.com/igorpecovnik/lib/blob/master/scripts/firstrun#L132-L238
Hello,
i installed the R54 image using windisk32 and everything boots fine while using HDMI but when i edit uEnv.txt and uncomment the line:
fdt_filename_prefix=pine64/sun50i-a64-lcd-
pine doesnt boot anymore. LCD stays dark and sometimes after 15 seconds the red power led is off.
any ideas why?
thx

running the android tv 6 and 7 on pinea64 plus and i have edge overflowing out on TV. tried different resolution it does not work. can we extract out https://github.com/ayufan-pine64/packages-apps-Settings/blob/a64/src/com/android/settings/ScrapEdgePreference.java setting on android tv or build the https://github.com/ayufan-pine64/packages-apps-Settings/blob/a64/src/com/android/settings/ScrapEdgePreference.java as separate packages which can be installed on android tv to make it work?
When I try to pair the device it seems that bluetooth is not functional. The Android TV app (running on my Xperia Z3, Android 7.0 DP4) does not recognise the Pine64 machine and I'm not able to pair.
I have also not been able to bring up a list of bluetooth devices in the 'add accessory/remote' section of the Settings app. I believe this is related to the above. What kind of diagnostic steps can I take to further identify the issue at hand?
one times work in 720p, after reboot permanent loading (4 cicling ring)
Hi,
Great work on the android-7.0, I've been playing around with the LCD + Touchscreen Pine64 but with usb keyboard and mouse plugged in. At first I thought the touch panel wasn't working at all, but then noticed that longpress works (i.e brining up the wallpaper/widget menu on home screen).
Obviously, you've said it "might" work but didn't/couldn't know for sure as you don't have the touch panel to test yourself, but thought I'd send in the issue anyway. I'm fairly experienced with ROM installation/tweaks to configs/sound/wifi/etc, but from a phone point of view the the touchscreen is usually the bit that works (otherwise would be very hard to interface with at all, due to lack of keyboard).
Any parameters I can tweak in uEnv.txt to specify touch/interface type? or any further testing I can do to assist? I can't see anything obvious in the logcat output, but perhaps android thinks the device is fine (as it partly works, that is) and hasn't failed completely
Thanks for the great work, regardless
hello. the csi camera has stopped working on this build of 7. can't figure it out. it does work with the android 5.1 #16 build. any ideas on what to do. i have no /dev/video0.
When you put this image on a card and boot the device, it does not work. You get a green/white screen of garbage. Never shows the Google boot animation.
When selecting the Pine64 as the device to cast to, the phone tries to connect and then instantly fails with unable to connect. Can anyone replicate this issue? This is both on WiFi and Ethernet.
For me, not all buttons on the remote work:
Hello,

But from my computer (Windows 10) it works fine.
No Boot, i don't have any Video or Sound.
The TV says "The HDMI resouliton is not supported"
Back to 1.11 and it works.
How can I use Netflix?
