In Bible editing it's almost 100% that the \nd tag is ignored and names of diety are presented in the source text as all cap words, possibly and probably separate from the presentation of signs which should appear in all caps (for example the signs on Jesus' cross.)

how to deal with detecting this across all languages? need a config file?

Optional Breakpoints are coded from the front of the paragraph/preceding point to the breakpoint. This leaves the last point open for wrapping. need to finish it to the end of the paragraph, or change to process from the back of the paragraph.
