avalanche-ledger-go's Introduction

avalanche-ledger-go

Golang SDK for Using the Avalanche Ledger App

Example

device, err := Connect()
if err != nil {
  panic(err)
}

// Get version
version, commit, name, err := device.Version()
if err != nil {
  panic(err)
}
fmt.Printf("version: %s commit: %s name: %s\n", version, commit, name)

// Get Fuji Address
address, err := device.Address("fuji", 0, 0)
if err != nil {
  panic(err)
}
fmt.Printf("address: %s\n", address)

// Sign Hash
rawHash := hashing.ComputeHash256([]byte{0x1, 0x2, 0x3, 0x4})
suffixes := [][]uint32{{0, 1}, {0, 3}}
sigs, err := device.SignHash(rawHash, suffixes)
if err != nil {
  panic(err)
}

TODO

  • Add X-Chain Support (change indices)
  • Add C-Chain Support
  • Support Transaction Parsing (only sign hashes right now)

NOTE: THIS PROJECT IS ACTIVELY DEVELOPED AND MAY INCUR BREAKING CHANGES

avalanche-ledger-go's Issues

Switch library `zondax/hid` to use `dolmen-go/hid` instead

Hi,

I'm in the process of packaging existing Avalanche binaries within the nix ecosystem. The long-term goal is to provide reproducible binaries for anyone who wants to run nix-based infrastructure. Unfortunately, I am having trouble building this code because of a dependency on zondax/hid whenever I'm compiling subnet-cli tool.

The library that brings that dependency indirectly is zondax/ledger-go.

error: builder for '/nix/store/50k6l2wsqmb9ism9wafkawmsc4f2r4c3-subnet-cli-0.0.2.drv' failed with exit code 1;

Some people are having the same issues, as we can see in the following list:

I decided to fork the affected repositories and switched to @dolmen-go forked version that solves those issues, and I can confirm I'm able to compile the tool successfully.

If you're OK with the change, I can create a PR.

Thanks
