printf not working with floats

Hi, thanks for your Makefile, It is a great help. Only oone thing. Due to gcc7 strange things, the printf function is not working as expected. i have fixed it adding

-u _printf_float

to the linker flags.

Make fails

After a git clone of this repo, without any changes, I try and do a make all in the root of this directory.

GCC is installed and in the PATH

Unfortunately I don't know this tool chain well enough to have any idea what this error means and how to fix it.
