Less compile cache

Caches the compiled .less files as .css.

Steps to reproduce (I think):
This error appears:
We should update less to at least 3.5 to get newer features, specially maps are nice.
After update there are 4 tests failing, most likely related to fact that paths are now normalized to have forward slash in name, tested on node 10.16
I'd like to use some of the newer LESS features, but this cache is still based on LESS 1.7. Would it be possible to update that dependency?
It'd be handy to give us a place to declare additional functions to be made available to less (or maybe just exposing the instance of less used). Probably means pulling less ^2.0.0, though. Getting custom functions into 1.x is a bit messy.
