This repository contains my solutions to assignments given in this course. Here is a brief summary of assignments with their respective links:

• Assignment 1: Implement kNN to classify hand-written digits. Dataset used: MNIST

• Assignment 2: Implement stochastic gradient ascent for logistic regression and apply it to the task of determining whether documents are talking about automobiles or motorcycles. Dataset used: E-mail communication about cars and motorcycles

• Assignment 3: Feature Engineering - Determine whether a text statement about a TV show is a spoiler or not. Dataset used: Spoilers

• Assignment 4: Learning Theory Homework - PAC learnability and VC dimension.

• Assignment 5: AdaBoost classification framework to do handwritten digit recognition. Dataset used: MNIST
