Hi, as the title says PenTOXIC doesn't get themed as the rest of the system, that's it.

It seems that every time you log in, you need to connect to the Internet to download something. For countries with network speed restrictions, you can't log in.

I tried turning off networking at the login screen, which allowed me to log in to the desktop

Hyprland is arguably the future of linux. Its extremely stable and modern a much better replacement for bspwm. Its lightweight and it seems meaningful to make the flagship edition of athena. I can keep going on and on...
So to sum things up it can be both beginner friendly and advanced.

I would like to see a KDE version of it. I always dislike Gnome due to its lack of features and customizability (especially when compared to KDE). The customizations applied to Gnome are great in aesthetics. I really like it. But I have a specific workflow and specific customizations that are not possible in Gnome. Even in Kali Linux, I use KDE and not the default XFCE version. I have previously used Blackarch installed on top of Manjaro. It was fine. But the performance was not that good. I installed Blackarch on top of Athena and it was really going well. If it weren't for Gnome, I wouldn't have uninstalled it. Thanks to you, I came to know more platforms like HTB and THM. I even made accounts in others and solved many challenges. All the time, the performance was so good. I really love the customizations made by you. But Gnome is the biggest obstacle. You may say that KDE is way more bloated and may reduce performance. But Xerolinux is, as they describe it, the best for eye candy lovers and it is extremely good. It is extremely beautiful. I even use it now. So smooth. No lag even with so many customizations. Absolutely beautiful. I can't install Blackarch in this one as it is as a daily driver. That's the problem with this one. This is also the reason I have Kali Linux (separate) as mentioned above. I'd love to see the KDE version. And the best choice for the terminal: Kitty. This choice is excellent. As much as I hate Python for desktop apps (only for desktop apps (GUI terminals included). I love Python for the rest), it is far better than Alacritty. Alacritty is always slower than any other terminal for me. I hate it. Kitty was also customized, and it was fast and smooth.

When I go to the installer on Athena OS, it always stops as 65% and says it could not find the package, any help?

Some applications are not rendered properly. For example, see the below screenshot of Burpsuite

This is inside awesomewm. But even before installing awesomewm, even in the default GNOME edition, I faced this issue (regardless of whethere the application is maximized or not). As you can see in the above screenshot, the buttons are not proper and the radio button for Temporary project is selected but the "filled" icon is not shown

Initially I have the role of:

1. Select another role
   
2. Pressing the "Set your role" button
3. The installation process
4. It shows "All done. Your role has been set!"
   
   But in the end, after a re-entry the role in Athena-welcome does not change
   

Just gave this distro a whirl but it appears various accessibility features such as Orca, the screen reader that comes bundled with Gnome, are not present. This renders the entire product unusable for me unless I spend hours figuring out the exact things that were removed and compensate.
Can this be looked into so people like myself aren't excluded? Thanks much! :)

I really like this system, but I failed to install it many times. If possible, can you install the vmware version and package it for me, and then give me the download link

I just boot Athena iso in my usb and tried to install the Athena everything I fiene I selected all the options and when I create new partitions one for ext4 at /, 2nd for swap, third for efi and then when I clicked on the install button the installation windows close ? And it threw me to the desktop screen nothing happened I tried again but still when I click on install the installation window closed and show me the desktop, kindly guide.

How to fix mirror/repositorie final step "PKG manager could not prepare updates"

Hi I'm having a lot of trouble with the installation with this final step error message, here's what I've read and already tried to correct error message

• Deleted current Pacman.d/gnu-gpg/*
• Reimported Athena's Keys and successfully received them from the mirror Ubuntu
• Reinitiated pacman-keyring
• Populated
• Refreshed mirrors with flag "-Syy"
• Reformated SSD
• and still get the error message

Details:
Partition Scheme The recommended for UEFI , Swap (no hibernate)

Then error message popped up again

Tried it 3 more times and then reformat drive and setup BIOS tu MBR setup (Yes my first Bios setup was for UEFI and yes my drive was partitioned as GPT, for the MBR I modified Bios and yes changed SSD to the other type of partitioning)

Repetead steps above went to install on fresh erased SSD and same error

Reading a bit more through Arch Wiki and the arch forum and came across that a possible fix is an offline Install , but installer requirements does not let me.

So is there anything I'm missing? Cause I'm getting tunnel vision and cycling through the same things, in advance thanks for your time and I'm looking forward to test the distribution.

PS: I was already running BlackArch before this installation test, I had BlackArch setup as a Repo on top of ArchCraft Linux with bspwm, worked very well, it was almost 7 months old that setup, and yes it was regularly Updated

What is the liveuser pw? I've different selections during install and when I open Bash I'm labeled as liveuser

I've been having issues with installing the OS as a Virtual Machine.

I've tried both on VMWare and on Oracle Virtual Machine. They both have had the same issue. I'll post what it says when it wasn't able complete the installation.

Have you been seeing this issue? Has anyone else submitted something similar?
