It should be possible to interact with the page using only a keyboard

Consider displaying a low-res version first (via the w=<width> query parameter, maybe at half the width of the viewport?) with a blur filter applied.

After the high DPI version has loaded, swap it in, possibly with a gentle transition.

Consider:

• Explicit UI, either a glyph or text
• Animation, maybe a short hop and wiggle on a reasonable interval

On iOS, all elements are currently invisible to users with VoiceOver enabled

Steps

1. In Safari (mobile or desktop), begin playback
2. Background Safari for a significant amount of time (ex., 30+ seconds)
3. Bring Safari back to the foreground

Result

The record’s scale no longer matches audio playback progress

Notes

Consider performing a progress check on document focus; if the drift between percentage of song progress and record scale is outside some acceptable range, fast-forward record playback
