The Social Music Discovery project is my first experience into Google BigQuery and running a major data collection script. In this project, I collected data on TikTok videos targetting new music related hashtags to detect recently released songs and subsequently forecast their future performance. I monitored these songs for performance across 18 metrics. My biggest issue was getting blocked by TikTok when trying to scale up the script to collect measurable amounts of data.
