Did you ever get the signature_is_valid part to work?
I am trying to use PayFast for a couple of Flask sites and have successfully implemented everything except for the signature verification part. I found this repo after being told by PayFast support that they can't help me with my code.
Just looking for some hope really. I added signature_is_valid and make_querystring from your code but just like my own more naive implementation the signature doesn't match the one they send me.
Could you let me know if you got this part to work yet? Also, could you point me to any other docs about PayFast? I have been working with this only - not the most comprehensive help text: https://developers.payfast.co.za/docs#step_4_confirm_payment
