Just curious where did you see that the minimum version was 1.4 for Android 14 (Android U)?
We're still building our HAL 1.3 driver on Android 14 and we currently have no plans to support 1.4.

Hi @MikeJKelly
I checked the FCM for Android 14 (hardware/interfaces/compatibility_matrices/compatibility_matrix.8.xml), and found that the hidl API for android.hardware.neuralnetworks is removed, only aidl API left.
so I think the hidl for NNAPI in Android14 is deprecated and should not be used.
( there might be a mistake that hidl of nn did not have the version 1.4, sorry)
