I am unable to extract the URL as data using the HTML API methods

e.g. none of these https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/FileReader#methods work:

FileReader.readAsArrayBuffer()
FileReader.readAsBinaryString()
FileReader.readAsDataURL()
FileReader.readAsText()

in the following code:

        onTakePhoto={(image) => {
         var reader = new FileReader();
          reader.onload = function () {
            console.log("reader result", reader.result);
          };
          reader.readAs...(image);
       }

any help appreciated.

When attempting to use this module after running create-react-app which is currently delivering a 16.3 package.json setup, I get the following error from the react-dom-camera module:

Failed to compile.

./node_modules/react-dom-camera/src/camera/Camera.js
Module parse failed: Unexpected token (75:21)
You may need an appropriate loader to handle this file type.

I have tried adding stage-0, stage-1, stage-2 and env presets as well as the class-properties plugins to the package.json after ejecting and still get the same error.

Any ideas?
