This is hinted at here https://archive.org/help/wayback_api.php which says additional snapshots may be added in the future.
Since using the website normally already returns all snapshots, this should not be difficult.

Example returns 502 bad gateway error. Has been down for several days.

Trying to search with example curl parameters (with proper file name) just returns "error": "list index out of range"

This endpoint still works:
https://api.archivelab.org/search/books?q=test&fields=names,ids,hits&collections=texts (searches across all books)

However the https://api.archivelab.org/books/{user_id}/searchinside?q=test endpoint needs to be fixed.

There is an issue on creating snapshots through POST https://api.archivelab.org/v1/pragma route.

This call doesn't work on Try It Out form too.

The OPDS spec doesn't require a link with rel="http://opds-spec.org/shelf", but without that link (and it looks like bookserver doesn't provide one) there's no way for a client to get a canonical list of a patron's currently active loans.

In practical terms, this means that the SimplyE mobile app loses all of a patron's loans when it's restarted. It looks for a bookshelf link, the link isn't there, so SimplyE assumes that all the loans have expired.

SimplyE could probably do a better job here, but when you're serving time-limited loans, the server is the source of truth about the loans.

The SSL certificate for https://api.archivelab.org has expired last week, rendering the APIs unusable on most operating systems / browsers.
