Sometime I see part of app not translated or with errors. Is there an easy way to find these strings in Weblate to translate or change them?

For instance I can not find (despite several searches in all Weblate components) the following string which is still in english:

all apps are either downloaded from app publisher [ if available ] or from other websites.

after the installation of the client, it is showing incorrect updates count.

i have enabled & disabled option: filter updates. but the issue is persistent.

i have few other queries:

[*] if the signature of my existing app is different from client app signature, does the client notifies me that an update is available, even though both apps are same version ?

[*] if i update my existing app with client signed app [ same version ], does the client removes the existing app including settings or it will update the app with new signature ?

Verified username and password are correct, they work on the site and backup app, but on the client I always get invalid username password combination.

Dear Aptoide devs, there is a user (CTOUCH Europe) uploading extremely poor quality Dutch translations to the Aptoide translation efforts on Weblate, both new translations and changes in old translations. Please remove and ban this user from the project as soon as possible as there is no easy way to keep track of what they're changing and reverting those changes.

Sadly aptoide complains that no google play libraries are installed. It still works, but is unable to download any applications.

Add an option to show only Free and Open Source Software/Apps.

(I usually have Google Play and F-Droid, but would really like (a lot!!!) to migrate to Aptoide instead of F-Droid, since it has more "visibility" and is more robust. Also i actually don't see why don't both join forces and merge into one).

So, please consider adding an option to the Aptoide client (which could be off by default) where one can say it only wants to see FOSS apps (Apps that use GPL, MIT, Etc licenses) - In other words - "eat" F-Droid!... you just need to add an option...

Another good addition would be a place where the licence, if there is one, would be shown

Aptoide does not seem to verify signatures of downloaded packages, nor does it use SSL to download packages, which means the packages themselves could be trivially tampered with, while they are downloaded from a store.

I just tried it myself, by modifying an APK that Aptoide had downloaded (changed a graphic) and then hitting Update on the Aptoide package screen. Aptoide happily opened the installer, which (of course) told me that the APK was corrupted.

A more sophisticated version of the same attack would involve someone tampering with the APK download, then re-signing the APK with a different signature so the package appears to be valid. Aptoide will happily let the user install this modified APK and not warn him at all.

In my opinion Aptoide should at least do the two following things:

1. Use HTTPS for package downloads. This solves a privacy issue beyond the normal security issue I'm reporting here.
2. "Pin" the signing key of updates to the same signing key of the previously-installed package. The point of the feature is that, once a package has been installed, Aptoide must enforce that future updates to the same package must be signed with the same key (think of it as SSH's TOFU security), and specific user action (a visit to the Settings form) must be required to override this protection. This way, maliciously-tampered-in-transit packages, where the attacker does not have access to the signing key of the original package, will simply not be installable.

There's an objection that could be raised against these suggestions, insofar as Android the OS itself will not let the user install a package whose signature does not comply with the chain of signatures in its package manager trust store. But we must remember that Aptoide is a store that many people (millions?) use with either root access or with "Allow Unknown Sources" turned on (both of which, in effect, defeat the OS-level signing security mechanism). So this "signature pinning" feature would protect all of these users from an attack that most Aptoide users are particularly at risk for.

Of course, it would also be real good if Aptoide used the internal storage instead of using the "sdcard" storage to store its downloads. That way other forms of tampering (local tampering by a malicious app with storage permission access) could be defeated as well.

After recent Android TV Oreo update to Mibox, it stopped working for some users. I have tried to uninstall/restart/reinstall/restart with various app versions, but Aptoide still doesn't show up in the list where to allow it as a trusted app.

So. I've a Samsung Galaxy Core (Samsung I8260) with Aptoide v7.0.9 installed, and I'm having an issue when updating already installed apps, that they don't get updated, instead, it flashes a white screen like it's opening something, and then closes, I'm missing any app in my phone?

Please remove android toast when you press "update all" it keeps saying. "Download started" (or something similar, I'm not English)

Older versions of aptoide used to notify of updates only if you are subscribed to the store with the newer version. The latest aptoide client notifies of updates regardless of weather you are subscribed to the store with the newer version. Is there a way to restore the old functionality and have an option to only notify of updates from subscribed stores?
