i am trying to deploy these apis project locally in Ubuntu.i am trying to set up database. In second instruction you have mentioned 2. Login vm as ‘tc’ account . perhaps you are referring vm as virtual machine.but there is no virtual machine.Please explain this point in little detail.

All of contest retrieval is public. We don't want or need the secured actions and routes. They, and their related tests, need to be removed.

SQL scripts mentioned in this deployment guide are missing from the repo.

I put the Contest listing API code into production.

That call is returning only studio contests. In fact it should return only software contests, not anything from studio.

Trying to generate a JWT. Getting an internal server error 500

It appears that the TopCoder API is broken. I'm testing the Auth endpoint http://api.topcoder.com/v2/auth?username=<username>&password=<password> and I'm getting the following error:

It's advisable and desirable for all code to pass jslint for maintainability purposes.

Test files should follow a consistent naming convention of "test..js"

So for example, "test.contests.js" instead of "contest_retrieval.js"

I am trying to set up tc-api on my local. Here are some of the errors that I am getting (it is mostly around not being able to find a few header files).

The test files all hard code the API endpoint to test. Like all parameters these should be set via environment variables, and should default to local host if the env variable is absent.
