Irregular mesh support would increase the flexibility to discretize a spatial domain.

When adding a drill core before saving the previously entered data disappears (only the drill core data).

Go to Data->Geological Objects; add New Object; select type "Drilling"; save (then the drill core panel appears); add Drill Core and enter some data; add a second drill core ---> data in first row disappered.

It may be expected from users, that "Add drill core" adds a new drill core section at the end of the previously entered sections without deleting the existing data. It would also be pleasent to add drill core sections between existing sections. This may be helpfull, if you intend to split drill core section into subsections later for a more detailed analysis.
