edge-gcp

This project allows you to install Apigee Edge in Google Cloud Platform using GCP's deployment manager. Please refer to http://docs.apigee.com/private-cloud/latest/overview for more details on Apigee Edge Private Cloud.

Support

This is an open-source project of the Apigee Corporation. It is not covered by Apigee support contracts. However, we will support you as best we can. For help, please open an issue in this GitHub project. You are also always welcome to submit a pull request.

Prerequisite

gcloud

Install gcloud sdk from https://cloud.google.com/sdk/downloads Initialize your account

Apigee Edge Profiles

aio (All in One)

This profile helps to create a AIO profile in Google cloud platform. The details are present here

multinode (Multinode edge deployment)

This profile helps to create a 2,5,7,9 node cluster deployment in Google cloud platform.

edge-micro (Edge Micro deployment)

This profile creates Edge Micro deployment

apigee-r-instance-template.jinja missing

After i get rid of error issue #2 by commenting it out - this is the next error

ERROR: (gcloud.deployment-manager.deployments.create) Error in Operation [operation-1495600909495-5503db8efaad8-430c10a5-120a756a]: errors:

apigee-edge-5node-template.jinja is missing

When i run deploy.sh, it fails with this error
ERROR: (gcloud.deployment-manager.deployments.create) Unable to read file 'apigee-edge-5node-template.jinja'.

Looks like - apigee-edge-5node-template.jinja is missing the repo

Change apigee-edge.yaml structure

The present structure is too flat. Need to group it so that we can describe them better. Also additional features like monetization , dev portal , autoscale be optional
