A SSO example from Google Apps to a node.js app
I'm putting this up here for those who run into the following error:
if(i.charCodeAt(0) > 127) ^ TypeError: Object: has no method 'charCodeAt'
(note, binary characters removed)
This is the result of an OpenID problem which is referenced here: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/15401948/error-at-charcodeat-after-nodejs-update
and here: jaredhanson/passport-google#4
The OpenID maintainer is not fixing this, the only solution is either a manual patch (see links above) or to move to Oauth, which means redoing parts of this example. I'm currently looking at Oauth, but it might be easier just to re-implement this as a lot of the methodology has changed...
