This is almost definitely the first javascript/html mp3 player which can load music from your hard drive and parse id3 tags.
Try it out online it should work on the latest version of chrome and possibly safari. Chromium and firefox 4 will probably only work with ogg vorbis files. Internet explorer 9, mobile safari and opera will almost definitely not work.
What license is the project released under? Specifically, I have been using id3v2.js in https://github.com/RocHack/grooveboat and am wondering about the license of this file.
I'm getting this error on the console after I've selected a directory:

I have a directory with tracks with titles 01, 02, 03 ... 08. I can see all the tracks in the list, but when I filter by the artist's name only the even numbered tracks are show.

Suggestion: Put "http://antimatter15.github.com/player/player.html" as the HOMEPAGE for this github project... or in the README... or something. :)
If it's MIT, I might try to take this code and plop it into @codedread/bitjs/audio someday :)

The titled error is on Firefox 4, Google Chrome 10 and Ogg Vorbis is not supported on Safari. Please check into that!
I've tried this on two hosts, each time using git clone to pull a fresh copy of the player.
After successfully loading the player in my browser, I reload the page. The player then loads without any styling. Developers console shows: Failed to load resource: net::ERR_FAILED - style.css
