IRC-2-HTTP is made up of a server (proxy) and a client. The client uses AJAX calls to interact with the proxy which keeps a connection open to an IRC server. This allows for great AJAX IRC clients.
C++ 88.54%Makefile 1.61%C 0.80%Shell 0.05%JavaScript 0.13%CSS 8.87%
At the moment the client won't run in Internet Explorer 7 and lower due to no support for Cross Domain Requests (XDR).
I am working on this and am trying to use a PHP file as a "proxy" as my research has suggested.
The end version will have support for all browsers; however I expect that older browsers might have a slightly noticeable performance decrease.
