I should be able to hop onto any macos -or- linux system. Clone, run install, and do monitor setup tweaks.

Still missing some macos installation steps, copied from notes:
Finder -- use screenshots

Change scroll around
Install developer tools
Remove everything from menubar

Keyboard

• Touchpad settings as screen shorted
• Modifier keys, caps to control

Karabiner elements:

• Settings (backslash replace with delete & vice versa)
• Remove from menubar

Monitor control

• Screenshot settings?

Night shift

• Setup for daily setup.

Firefox:

• Login
• Setup extensions
• Remove extensions
• Compact mode
• Default zoom 80%
• Never show bookmarks
• No sponsor search

It's just too slow on some machines, especially with a bunch of plugins. See starship/starship/issues/301.

Possible replacements:

• Powerlevel 10k
• Using git status with a completely custom prompt
• Some other solution

testing the gh terminal client

Old version did. Not sure if this should be added to the main installation script with a "OSTYPE = Darwin" or if it should be in it's own script under ./apple/
