Coolstar, first off - you are a genius my friend. Thank you for Anemone. I'm using v278 and trying to use different icons for each folder - not having much luck. I'm using the naming convention as mentioned on Twitter....

Do I have that right because that's what I've tried and just can't get it. I can get the same icon for each folder working but not individual icons for each folder. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

Cant work with Ayecon and Ayeris theme

The calendar icon is not displaying the day properly, it should abbreviate the name to "seg", but it's showing the full name instead.

[email protected] (And I assume @1x and @3x also, but I don't have devices to test on) has no impact on the control center slider.

I'm not sure if it's a bug or something, but icon effects can't be applied on third-party apps' extensions.

Here's a screenshot, as you can see, icon overlay is perfectly applied on iOS' own extensions, but not on third-party apps' (metapho and import to vsco). I'm not sure if anemone can do something about it, it just feels weird to see part of them themed and others not...

Hey just try the folder icon feature. it is shown while applying in anemone but there is no folder icon on springboard after it. any idea how to fix this?

Using the tint colors it doesn't seem possible to colorize the all the status bar elements, see the attached image.

I would like to see the possibility to add gradients to Tab Bar and Menu Bar.

Installed Anemone and managed to use the themes that came pre-loaded. Also able to use themes downloaded from Cydia.

I want to use an image for a folder.
Went to: /Library/Themes/

And created a new folder called "Folders.theme"
Inside, added Bundles\com.apple.springboard\[email protected]

The file size is 120px*120px.

Can't see it in the preview or after I respring.

Am I missing something?

As the subject says, Anemone displays a 7th column of icons when in landscape orientation. This 7th column is shown behind the docked icons and visible when using Anemone's No Dock theme:

I'm not sure how to add the info to my theme without an example.

I read very carefully on the wiki about all the functions but as I mentioned in title,font,dock reflections settings(blurred,no blurred etc),and iphoneshadow don't work on iOS9. I don't have an iOS 8 device now so I'm not sure if I did something wrong with font theming and dock settings(didn't install classic dock), but iphoneshadow has been confirmed not working while iphoneoverlay works properly.

FYI this is the code I added to info.plist

When using a glyph theme that uses iconbundles, icon quality is lost and icons become harder to see. It's hard to see what I'm talking about without zooming in, but when you make icons, like me, it's easy to know when your icon doesn't look as it should.

The only workaround for this that I could find is setting IB-MaskIcons to true, but then the icons are on a black background and look bad.

It see it most noticeably with the settings icon, but I can tell it's happening to all the icons.

After configuring the icon labels shadow in the plist file I enabled the "Dock Reflection" option in Anemone, but doing so disabled the icon labels shadow.

Overlays and/or shadows applied with Icon Effects are not shown in closed folders.
Example:

The background of the left icon is applyed using Icon Effects (AnemoneEffects/[email protected]). This background is not shown on the "mini-icons" in the right, closed folder.

Edit: IconEffects are also not shown in Spotlight, ect.

The Clock icon looks fine when in a folder (bottom right folder named "Utilities"),

but when the folder is opened or the icon is moved out of the folder, the icon is made too large.

Theme is indigo and enkel with indigo applied above enkel.

@coolstar Tried to theme the clock background with the IconBundles-method on retina iPad (Anemone nightly 275, iOS 8.4) but had no luck at all.

I removed ClockIconBackgroundSquare@2x~ipad.png from com.apple.springboard and added com.apple.mobiletimer@2x~ipad.png to IconBundles, but Anemone seems to ignore this file. Also tried different filenames (~ipad@2x, ~ipad, @2x, ...) - nothing works.

The funny thing is, that in the preview of Anemone the Clock icon it is shown, but themed folders are not shown and the Newsstand icon has a black background:

I think it may be an issue with my iPhone 6, because it works on my iPod 5, but when I have AnemoneDock.dylib enabled in iCleaner, my springboard keeps crashing into safe mode so I can't theme the Dock on my phone.

Winterboard allows theme creators to run pngcrush on the entire /Library/Themes folder and directly replacing the PNG files with a compressed version of it. Would be great if Anemone supported it too.

For some reason as soon as I install it I go right into a boot loop, then when I do manage to get it uninstalled my phone is left looking like it's in Safe Mode and I hav to go fixin all my settings again😐😖

At the bottom of the page it says, "An example ... available below. It uses Custom Blurs..." but there is no example for Custom Blurs.

Hi I contacted coolstar and the dedicated twitter account for Anemone (I know I didn't send it too long ago, but ill write a post on here too to save time and you can have more characters on here etc)

Over at Label Settings Keys there are the Keys (FontName, FontSize, etc), but there's no information as to what data type you should use (String, int, real, etc). For using TextColor with BadgeSettings, (I'm not sure if this was correct) I tried using "string", like below, but i got sent to safe mode.

(Edit: doing rgba(0, 0, 0, 0) seemed to of fixed this - which still has the same effect as opacity is a 0)

Also in saying this, custom badges are horribly broken. It's cool that you can use your own dimensions (I firstly used 120x120, thinking it would downscale down to fit the proper size etc -- I eventually got down to 4x4 (as I didn't really need to have a massive canvas just for a minimal circle badge), but it seems to of duplicated it horizontally, as a line (here's the image)

TextXoffset and TextYoffset never work and always seem to go into the top right corner. I even added a minus ("-") to the real but it actually kept going up and was actually half blocked off. I changed to integer, but there was no difference.

Also, in the wiki, HeightChange & WidthChange are noted in an example, but theres no explanation as to what they do, nor are they on the "Label Settings Keys" page 😕

Dear Dev..
This is my first time installing Anemone to replace the old Winterboard
I have some tweaks installed before Anemone, and after I installed Anemone, the device respringed to crash which lead to the Safe Mode
I already tried to uninstall most of the tweaks which left me the only Cydia and Icleaner but still it crashed into safe mode
Could you please help me to examine the crash log ?
Unfortunately I can't upload the notepad about the crash log due to the restriction but I already capture some parts of it.

As the title says,the Facebook paper app can't be themed, my guess is anemone can't theme folders inside folders, as the path of paper is /Folders/Paper.app/CajmereResources/Icons/blue or /Bundles/com.facebook.Paper/CajmereResources/Icons/blue. The only solution for now is use the iconbundle method, but as winterboard can theme it the traditional bundles way, I'm sure anemone would be able to do that too, otherwise the traditional bundles theme method isn't fully supported.

@coolstar Well you know I'm the maintainer of the Glasklart theme, witch has over 8100 icons so far and Glasklart is a very white/transparent theme. Thanks to Anemone the icons of Glasklart are looking very good now and we can theme a lot more than just the normal springboard icons, but we are running into a problem with the icons that are shown in the settings (they are taken from the IconBundles, that's a very good thing so we don't have to make extra icons for the installed apps), a picture says more than thousand words:

As you can see, we have white/transparent on white here.... 😢
I know it is possible to theme the settings with tint colors and override colors to make the settings background dark, but that's not what we want at all, so I request the ability to add 58x58px Overlays|Underlays/Shadows for the settings icons (the same thing as you have done for the normal icons with icon effects, but for the settings icons).
I already have a settings theme ready, but I don't want to add it to Glasklart as long we have a mixed result:

Currently, it is only possible to change the shape of the (ugly) blurred open folder background by adding FolderMask@2x~iphone.png to com.apple.springboard.
I would be nice if the ability to theme the open folder background would be added to Anemone ([email protected]?).

I have an iPhone 5 that worked flawlessly with anemone until this latest update, which has broken folder icon masking. I had a round icon on it that is now stock

should be

"The clock icon background may be themed using Bundles with "ClockIconBackgroundSquare" (or something like that)

I saw on the wiki that for anemone, the code had changed for label shadows (https://github.com/AnemoneTeam/Anemone/wiki/Icon-Labels#example-plist) so I tried it out in a plist yet there's no change at all. Cydia tweaks such as Classic Labels for iOS 7.1 & 8 don't work enough unless used with Winterboard.

The BlackColor key in override colors affects the signal strength and other status bar items. Even when tint colors is applied to change it with Global or UIStatusBar. Doesn't matter what BlackColor is set to the status bar items remain black until it's removed from plist. But the the text on the tables are not colored.

Custom ringtone function is severely crippled. ToneEnabler was forcibly removed on update.

Custom ringtones can be applied as the default ringtone. Previously, using ToneEnabler, custom ringtones could also be applied on a per contact basis - Contacts -> Contact Name -> Edit -> Ringtone. Now, if your custom is set as default it appears in the list (obviously as it being the default means it is the one applied, but other customs do not appear in the list only stock or purchased tones.)

If you would like to take over the ToneEnabler function and force it to be removed, fine, but if you are going to forcibly remove it on upgrade/install then the functionality needs to be the same or better, not less

The badges are slightly blurry when using a custom background.

When using AnemoneEffects to apply a icon shadow (and maybe overlay too, I only used a shadow), the icon shadow does not change based on Gridswitcher settings. Even if the icon is disabled, the shadow still appears.

Applying an icon mask should make the folders have the same shape, but if the mask extends past the normal corner radius of the folder, the folder's shape is not changed.

iOS 7.1.2, iPhone 4

After most recent update, Anemone crashes at startup. Also appears to cause other apps to crash at times. (Cydia crashed when going to "installed" tab, Mail crashed when trying to load an email.)

I just upgraded from a iPhone 6+ to a 6+s and when I went to download from the nightly repository there was nothing there. After investigating I see that the current version of 1.1-22 was available from the stock resources. When I installed that i could use it but I could no longer open Cydia. Furthermore I have not been able to rectify the issue unless i do a complete factory restore and rejailbreak, then restore my iPhone backup. I have narrowed the tweaks down and Anemone seems to be the issue with Cydia refusing to open. So I guess my question is two fold...

1. Is this a known issue?
2. Is there a workaround?

First of all, when installed, when I click on a folder, the darkened overlay you get anytime you click on an icon is slightly mispositioned. While it's not a huge issue, a tweak focused on aesthetics probably shouldn't have an issue like that.

Second, mixing and matching themes is challenging, because (as far as I can tell) there is no way to set one theme above the other. For example, my setup uses the themes indigo and enkel. If I wanted enkel's icons to take precedence over indigo's, I don't know how/if I could do that. I wish there was a way to move individual theme parts or even just entire themes up and down in the list to decide which icons to use if the same icon is present in both themes.

Third, (and this one is really not a big deal) the splash screen/ loading screen of the app is pixelated on my iPhone 6. I don't know if it's because of my device's larger screen, or because there is something wrong with the image(s). Regardless, it looks out of place and quite frankly, somewhat ugly in its pixelated state.

Bottom section of classic dock themes does not show up on springboard with out the "darken area behind dock" option enabled. Anemone does not include this option. Please add option. Thank you.

I have quite a few custom folders. They are properly named and show up fine on my 6plus. For unknown reasons and without a clear pattern or trigger, they become all jumbled up in that the custom icons for Music or Video or Photo adopt folder images of other custom folders (e.g. Travel, Social, Productivity). A respring will fix this, but the mix up will happen again.

Custom respring logos will not take affect with Anemone. Is this an issue with the theme itself or with Anemone?

Why in version 1.0.0.1 and earlier betas had the option of "ModernDock" and since leaving in Cydia no longer?
