Are the nodes executing code in the same context or in a different context each?

Currently, the gateway is created by default with the following discovery options:

asLocalHost: false
} 

To allow more customization, the discovery options should be customizable. Example:

enabled: discoveryEnabled,
asLocalHost: discoveryAsLocalHost
} 

This could be achieved with the same system that currently exists: using the payload that comes into a node (mid/out) and/or with node properties directly (in/mid/out).

This customization would be relevant when connecting to a remote fabric which the developer does not know the full topology, for example in IBM Blockchain Platform 2 (or even with others), as discussed here with David Kelsey.
