Getting Started

Prerequisites

  • Android Studio Arctic Fox or later
  • JDK 11 or later

Setting Up the Development Environment

  1. Clone the repository:
git clone https://github.com/andriybobchuk/coCreate
  1. Open the project in Android Studio:
  • Open Android Studio and select "Open an existing project"
  • Navigate to the cloned repository and open it
  1. Sync the Project with Gradle Files:
  • Android Studio should automatically prompt you to do this. If not, you can trigger a sync manually from the toolbar.
  1. Run the application:
  • Set up an emulator or connect a physical device
  • Run the app by pressing the 'Run' button in Android Studio

Environment Variables

  • Firebase Configuration: Ensure you have the google-services.json file from Firebase placed in the appropriate app directory.
  • Firebase API Key: Ensure you have a valid SERVER_CLIENT API key under the com.andriybobchuk.cocreate.feature.auth.data.data_source directory to use Firebase services in your project.
