expectcss's Issues

Allow users to specify browser when running

Different styles will take effect in different browsers. I need a way to specify what browser(s) is (are) being tested against. It should be available as a command:

node expect -browser ie-7

This should filter out properties that are not available in that browser (i.e. -webkit- for non-webkit browsers)

Styles.match needs better matching

Currently rules are matched if the last part of the selector matches the rule. Obviously we need to match rules that are as specific or more specific than the rule being verified.

tag/pseudo < class < id < !important

Use comments to create tests

Rather than create separate spec files, tests should be embedded in the css files as comments with the following structure:

/* Expect

  • not toBeOverridden
    */

Test should include:
toBeOverridden
toHaveProperties
(will add more)
