Welcome to the NSICCompetitionEngine!

The engine is still a work in progress. It will be made generic for cloning once it is completed. It is not completed. There are blemishes. But its getting there.

Many pages are in super draft form.

UI Stuff

  • Fix responsive padding on scenario editor
  • Fix responsive design on admin page
  • Hide menu on login page (when not logged in)
  • Hide admin nav item if user is not admin
  • Make the titles of info displayed on scenario editor bold / emphasized
  • Add IE disclaimer
  • Add labels to registration form and scenario questions forms.
  • UIMobile CSS class seems unneeded

Session security

  • Session times out based on login time from server.

  • Sessions validate based on initial login IP for session

  • Session ID generation is random with good entropy

  • Sessions are destroyed when they expire or are invalid

  • Session validation is done using server side information about the session
