To run code samples from this repository install the following software:

1. Install the current version of Node.js (see https://nodejs.org/en/download/). If you already have Node.JS older than version 6.9 uninstall it first.

2. Install Angular CLI. 

If you never installed Angular CLI before, open the command prompt window and run the following command:

npm install @angular/cli -g

If you already have Angular CLI older that 1.0.0, uninstall it first:

npm uninstall @angular-cli -g
npm uninstall @angular/cli -g
npm cache clear
npm install @angular/cli -g

3. Install either the trial version of the WebStorm IDE from https://www.jetbrains.com/webstorm/download  or Visual Studio Code IDE (it's free): https://code.visualstudio.com/download.
 
4. Install the Chrome browser if you don't have it

5. Clone this repository or download the zip file with code samples.
