Project XOS or eXperimental Operating System is a platform to develop a simple operating system. The OS is programmed using a custom language known as SPL (System Programmer's Language) and the application programs are developed using APL (Application Programmer's Language). The OS is capable of multiprogramming, manipulating files, exception handling and demand paging. It runs on a simulated machine called eXperimental String Machine (XSM). It works over Linux operating system like a virtual machine. The specification for SPL and APL can be found at the XOS GitHub repository. This repository contains the SPL and APL programs that I have developed for running XOS.
