A simple but scalable social networking style platform, built following the Udemy course by Brad Traversy, with some of my own solutions to issues I ran into along the way

  • Working in depth with React.js

  • Private Routing with authentication
  • Using Redux with React (Actions, Reducers, State Management)
  • Building a well structured back-end
  • Working with Mongoose and using Models to create a well organized Database
  • User Registration/Authentication using JSON Web Tokens along with MongoDB
  • Creating server-side form validation
  • Basic application security
  • Good practices for deployment to heroku

Redux Devtools Error

Stuck in dev mode, page doesn't load on browsers w/out redux devtools. Refer to fix in Simply-invoice

Experience requires location

When adding experience to a profile, it will throw an error unless the location field is included but can't find where this is happening in the validation
