Sepcial thanks to bolds07 for reporting the issue leading to the fact that we should always use application-level context to get an instance of WindowManager. In this case, the floating window is going to be shown, even after the activity gets minimized.
Hi, When I want to build this project, show this error to me:
Failed to resolve: androidx.core:core-ktx:1.3.0
You build.gradle states that min api lvl is 14 but i tried to use this api on android 19 and although it does work and show the floating window correctly... once the current app minimizes the floating window minimizes too...
so it never goes to a state like you show in the demo where the floating window is on top of main screen... in andoird 29 it works fine but for 19 (and maybe lower versions) it doesnt work
am i doing something wrong?
Should add these 2 permission declaration in AndroidManifest
