disposable-email-domains's Issues

wildcards in the domains

At the beginning of the denyDomains list, there are some wildcards:

*.cfo2go.ro
*.istii.ro
*.onlysext.com
*.spamtrap.ro
*.uu.gl
*.wupics.com

Shouldn't the list be just the domain part without the subdomain?

Thanks.

mozmail.com is in both allowDomains.txt and denyDomains.txt, should be removed from denyDomains.txt

mozmail.com appears in allowDomains.txt:

and in denyDomains.txt (around line 95160, preview may be busted):

https://github.com/amieiro/disposable-email-domains/blob/172b06ff42fe3bf23c2b63381cb02979eaaf3aeb/denyDomains.txt#L95160

I'm a developer for Firefox Relay. I'd like mozmail.com to be in the allowDomains.txt and not in denyDomains.txt, as well as the JSON variants.

Back in 2021, we took over the mozmail.com domain for our aliases. We are operating Relay with a number of features that I think mitigate the risks that these aliases pose:

  • Bounces & deliver-ability - if our user disables an @mozmail.com alias, we DO NOT trigger a bounce. Instead, we silently drop the email.
  • Anti-abuse protections - we limit our free users to 5 total aliases, and we rate-limit our premium customers so they cannot create large-scale throw-away aliases for abusive sign-ups and behaviors.

I've found mozmail.com in at least one of the source lists and I'm working to remove it there (kslr/disposable-email-domains#56). I'd appreciate if it was removed from denyDomains.txt here as well, in case an upstream list is not responsive.

duck.com incorrectly listed as a disposable email service

Hello,

I'm writing as a postmaster for duck.com, DuckDuckGo's email forwarding service.

It seems we've landed on your list as a disposable email. We don't intend for our service to be used as a disposable email. We take any reports of abuse seriously. Would you consider removing this entry?

Thank you,

Brian Kowalewicz

Description of what is in each list and how they should be used

There are 3 domain lists in the repository: denyDomains, allowDomains and secureDomains. It is not clear what they contain (e.g. what is the difference between allowDomains and secureDomains?) and how they should be used.

Would it be possible to add to the readme file:

  1. Descriptions of the contents of each list.
  2. Description of the logic to apply them, e.g. "step 1: If the domain is in the allowDomains list, the email is not disposable; step 2: if the domain is in the denyDomains list, it is disposable, ...".

Thank you, and thank you for this repo, it's very useful and complete.

keemail.me is blacklisted

keemail.me is provided by tutanota.com, it is not a disposable email domain from what I understand.
