Summary

We will release a brand new user interface that is less cluttered and more organized to improve the user experience of our users. Featuring Google's new Material 3 design.

Intended Outcome

We expect that the new interface will bring a refreshed experience to our users. The interface features more better organized buttons to reduce confusion, better notifications when doing actions, and in general a more modern experience.

Summary

Our current implementation for bookmarks on Cereka works by reading the current position of the reader's location. This is limited by the fact that our app does not yet fully support pages. We expect to fix the bookmarking problem concurrently with the horizontal reading feature.

Summary

A lot of Cereka users are requesting that the app should support horizontal reading. Our current method of rendering books is limited by the fact that the books do not have a page height. When rendering books horizontally, we need to define a height limit to each page and calculate the text to be shown within each page.
