vinfo's Issues

No tags are created

I am using the latest Vinfo from git with neovim on Arch linux. But when I want to display a info file (:Vinfo whatever) the tags are not converted correctly:

  • No link targets are created.
  • The next and previous links at the top of each chapter are not marked as links.
  • The tags file is empty.
    Does this also happen for anyone else?

Multiple word query

I'm unsure if this works for other packages; however, with zsh and the package zsh-doc from the AUR, queries such as info zsh echo are valid and open up the documentation where echo is described. This is sort of the main reason I use the info command to begin with.

Though, when using Vinfo, only a single word is allowed. I'm not very competent in Vimscript to really know how to modify this to allow for a query like the one I mentioned above. I tried using quotes around the query and that didn't seem to work. So, I'm creating this asking for a feature request of a multi-worded query

Editing to say that commands like the following all work on the command line:

$ info zsh 'Parameter Expansion'
$ info zsh Parameter\ Expansion

I've tried similar ones with Vinfo. Perhaps I'm doing something wrong if it is already allowed

:Vinfo printf* do not works

:Vinfo libc works

but
:Vinfo printf
do not works, this is error message:
[Vinfo] Invalid DOC: printf (No repo created)

Show progress/pulse while converting or indication of "not found"

Some kind of indication that your requested info pages are "being processed, please wait", or a progress bar would be nice.

Even running the suggested :Vinfo libc took ~30 seconds to process on my box, and I only realized that the plugin worked after the 3rd try when I was literally editing my plugin list in another buffer to remove it.

Adding a "could not find infopages for X" goes hand in hand with this. Since generating pages takes a while, if I misspell a page I have no idea until I watch the pot for ~1 minute and resign myself to "guess it doesn't exist?"
