ALTCHA for WordPress

This repository contains the offical ALTCHA plugin for WordPress.

ALTCHA offers a free, open-source Captcha alternative, ensuring robust spam protection while respecting user privacy and GDPR compliance.

Status

Use with caution, this plugin is new and the ALTCHA API is currently in public beta, that includes the Spam Filter.

Installation

  1. Download the .zip from the Releases.
  2. Upload altcha folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
  3. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress
  4. Review the settings and enable the your integrations

Various warnings

While the plugin seems to work (thank you!), I receive 70 warnings about undefined variables. Mostly $ALTCHA_WEBSITE from translations.php and a bunch of undefined array keys from options.php. I have attached a screenshot from the Query Monitor output.
