Thanks @CrystalWindSnake, this has been fixed in the newest release of birdseye. Upgrade with:
pip install --user --upgrade birdseye
in a terminal.

Please give more details. When and where does this happen? Can you give a full traceback? Can you give us sample code that produces the error?

Thanks for reporting the error! Im happy to know that people are using my
extension.
If its not too much trouble can you reproduce the error, then run the
vscode command "Developer: Open Log File...", choose extension host, and
copy the file here?
That should give us more info to help you.
Also what python version are you using?
You can run python --version from the terminal to see the version.
